pallets in red and blue

FYI- this will be my last post for this month.  I’m taking off the rest of September.   God willing, I will see you all in October 2020.  Peace Out.

Got a problem?   Too Bad, “Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Goodbye!” 😉

It’s time to fly this acid world, retool and re-energize.

Happy Saturday August First.  Today is the first in a new series of abstract compositions.   I hope you enjoy them as much as I had finding them.  The title is in code followed by the number in the series.

Oblivion Hymns (a new series)

I’ve gone to one of my favorite haunts (an underground car park) All new images ,but one or two of them are re-shoots including this first one, in the series.

This series is inspired by the album OBLIVION HYMNS by the band Hammock.  One image a day for each of the 10 original songs + 3 bonus images for the deluxe edition of the album.  Total 13 images in 13 days (13 has always been a lucky number for me).
I love Hammock’s moody work and it has been a perfect soundtrack for my current state of mind. So here we go…..

Oblivion Hymn #1

my new avatar

For over 20 years I’ve had a shaved head and a mustache usually with a goatee tuft under my lower lip. But this year has been all about change. Change both wanted and unwanted. I decided changing my look was part of a change I wanted. So now my hair is shoulder length and I have a full beard. I’ve gotten in touch with my inner Walt Whitman (one of my favorite American Poets). I took this selfie with my iPhone and processed it in photoshop. Pleased enough with the outcome to use it as my new avatar profile image for my sites.  Enjoy.
